Sunset Ridge is an exclusive mountaintop community of large private estates. Although it is in the early stages of development, several of the lots have already sold. Sunset Ridge is located seven miles from Dunlap, Tennessee on Fredonia Mountain just south of the Greenfields development. Sunset Ridge has one of the highest elevations on the mountain. It consists of a wide finger-like projection of land, higher than the surrounding plateau, which extends eastwardly several thousand feet before abruptly ending with an overlook of the mountain vistas that encompass the Sequatchie Valley. Because of its orientation and elevation, the sunsets from this property are spectacular.

To Sunset Ridge from Chattanooga, TN: Take Highway 27 north to Highway 111 north to Dunlap. Exit Highway 111 onto Highway 127 south. Go 1.4 miles. Turn right on Fredonia Road. Go 4.8 miles. Turn left on John H. Lewis Road. Go 1.1 mile and turn right. Go 1.2 miles and Sunset Ridge is on the left.
